Bankai Ability:Each blade can manipulate the elements to their fullest{earth,fire,water,air,lightning,twilight}.He can also absorb different attacks/energy/elements and utilize them himself gaining that ability{although it's strength depends on the amount of spirit energy Gin puts into his zanpaktou,that applies to abilities not his own}.The size of the blades can change to the will of Gin.

Restrictions:
Tangibility{shikai}:the blade can be altered to go through other weapons{Ex.sasuke's blade,but it isn't like that at all times and it cannot stay in that form at all times.}it lasts 15 seconds{at most} and there is a 20 second grace period until he can do it again.
Elements{shikai}:Each blade can create the elements stated and manipulate them at will.

Elemenst{bankai}:control over the element spreads over to things in his envoronment and gets stronger.{Ex.if there is a glass of water close to him he can use it}
